Plymouth International Rotary Turns One

Celebrating our first year of friendship, community and making a difference, today, 3rd October 2026, marks a very special milestone for Plymouth International Rotary, our first birthday!

It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed since we began this exciting journey. What started with a simple idea, to create a Rotary club that was welcoming, diverse, flexible and focused on making a difference, has grown into a vibrant community of people united by friendship, fellowship and service.

Joining us in our celebration, we were delighted to welcome Mike and Fleure from Teignmouth Rotary Club and Jo from Plymouth Highbury Trust, who gave us a great insight into the wonderful things they are doing within our community.

A year of connection and community, our first year has been filled with new experiences, new friendships and plenty of memorable moments.

We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming new members from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, professions and experiences. Each person has brought their own perspective, skills and enthusiasm, helping to shape Plymouth International Rotary into the club we are today. While our members may come from different walks of life, we share a common belief.

Together, we can make a positive difference in our community and beyond.
